How much will it cost?
Firstly we will find out how many days the project will take, this is the Labour price- and is fixed. The materials are provided by the client OR we provide the required materials and. Other charges include skip hire for removal of rubbish.
Do you do small bathrooms or cloak rooms?
We at Owens tiling are happy to tile any room however small.
Do you have a guarantee on your work?
In the extremely rare event that something should go wrong regarding the fitting, we have a full year guarantee on all our work. Just give us a call at Owen Tiling and we will correct whatever the problem may be, free of charge of course.
Can you tile over existing tiles?
Although we generally like to begin work on a plastered or rendered wall, if the original tiles are sound and solid then that is no problem tiling over existing tiles
What is the best colour grout for my tiles?
The best colour grout is a colour that is as close as possible to the shade of the tile, unless you are trying to attain a contrasting effect. It is favoured to select a colour that is slightly darker than the tile.
How long will it take to complete my tiling job?
This all depends on size of the room, how many rooms, the materials required, design of tiles. However we can give a free estimate of how many working days it will take to complete your job either over the phone, email or a consultation at your home.
Do I have to take days off work whilst the work is being completed?
No, you do not have to take days off while the tiling work is taking place. Consultation via the telephone or e-mail will help us to make sure that all the details are arranged. We will always keep your home in order, keeping all our equipment out of the way to keep disruption to an absolute minimum. We understand that unfortunately a small percentage of labourers have given us a bad name, we do not want to jeopardize our positive reputation therefore we make it our number one priority to keep the client happy. We understand that you offer us your trust while you are away and we respect this.
